Having a love for ‘classic analog drum machines’ (CR-78 rhythm composer made famous by Sting), effect boxes and sequencers fused with live instrumentation in music “Ancient Melodies” was born. Affirmations recite “power, love and unity” with spacey vocals and guitar effects pulling you in to the melody and spiritual messages within the song. Inspired by Curtis Mayfield's “Gimme Your Love”, this song is reminiscent of how influential groove base music was and still is.
